Following our May production, Out Of Focus, we’re delighted to share that ticket sales generated a £960 surplus.
We’ve donated this as four cheques of £240 each to local worthy causes:
- The Golf Club’s charity of the year: House of Light
- Walkington Bowling Club
- Walkington Methodist Church
- Friends of Walkington School / Walkington Pre-School (joint donation)
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, volunteered, and supported our productions. With these latest gifts, the total we’ve donated from Pantomime and Play profits now stands at well over £50,000.
Pantomime rehearsals start soon, and tickets for this year’s production – Little Red Riding Hood by Jane Sharp – will go on sale in the Village Hall on Saturday 17th October from 10.00 am – 12 noon. They are priced at £9.00 for adults and £4.00 for under-14s. Following this, remaining tickets will be available online.
